Take 95 South from Providence. After Warwick, look for signs for Route 4 South which exits on the left side of the highway. Take the Route 4 South for approx. 10 miles, through several traffic lights. Route 4 will merge with route 1 South and will curve sharply to the right. Stay to the right and take the first exit, Rt. 138 East to Jamestown/Newport. Follow 138 East over the Jamestown bridge (the first bridge you come to). Once in Jamestown, take the second exit after the bridge, which says "Jamestown" (just before the Newport Bridge toll plaza). Follow this road (Conanicus Ave.) into town curving along the edge of the harbor. You will come to a 4-way stop sign in the middle of town. Continue through the stop and up a hill. You will now be on Walcott Ave. Continue on Walcott a little less than a mile and take your first marked left onto Racquet Road. Stay to right and follow the road as it comes to the water. It will turn into Dumplings Drive. Park either on the water side of the road before the Jamestown Boatyard or in the second lot past the boatyard. Our doorbell is the red flagpole at the edge of the beach by the Dumplings Dock (at the beginning of the stone jetty). Raise flag, and the boat should come soon!.
